The term ‘wet’ is used to describe the texture of the board when the cards are suited, connected, or otherwise lend themselves to making a strong hand or draws.

Flops like 9♣ T♣ J♣, Q♠ T♠ 5♣, and 5♥ 4♥ 3♣ are examples of wet board textures.
